KXT-32X New Compact Type FTTH Optical Distribution Box is an intelligent solution to facilitate access between the operator’s infrastructure and the internal network of buildings. So that it stands out as one single structure. The installation is performed modularly and independently by each operator based on the installation of one unit determined by the Secondary KXT-32X belonging to the building and another unit belonging to the operator determined by the Primary KXT-32X. These units can be coupled together and therefore different operators may be connected to the building’s internal network.
Primary and Secondary Module Their modularity allows a connection between Primary and Secondary within both splitters. The secondary module receives the riser cable of the building and the Primary Module receives the cable from the telecommunications operator.
The units are composed of two compartments, one for fusing fibers organized in cassettes and another compartment for the passage of connecting patch cords between the operator and client.
Both covers can be disassembled; the organizer cassettes open like a flipbook and can be removed at any time. Overall, the KXT-32X is easy to install and is user friendly.
The compartments are separated by an SC / APC adapter module. Depending on the KXT-32X version, this module can have up to 32 SC / APC adapters.
The can have a multi-operator function, meaning that after the installation of Primary Operator A, a more independent form of one or more units of other operators may be installed.
The adapter panel is removable so that it can be easily mounted with adapters.
KXT-32X is an optimized solution for installations in GPON networks (Gigabit Passive Optical Network) FTTH type (Fiber-To-The-Home)
When performing the first FTTH installation on a building. The operator must install the Primary and Secondary modules The choice of model (32 SC / APC adapters) should take into account the number of clients who will have fiber optics, taking into consideration that it will be 2FO per apartment/client.
The operator will install the Primary module below the Secondary, merging the main cable and inserting the splitters in the organizer cassettes. One patchcord SC / APC optical cord will come out from the KXT-32X, from the connection compartment to the Secondary connected to the corresponding adapter of the apartment/client.
In the future, when other operators want to offer fiber-optic services in the building, they only need to install their specific KXT-32X module under the existing Primary and connect through patch cord / optical cord to the Secondary.
Thus, the KXT-32X allows the progressive expansion of access to the building infrastructure.
